This same government has denied detainees at Belmarsh prison the basic justice inherent in our democratic system to defend those who are 'suspected' of terrorist acts. Lies, arrogance and incompetence do not make for good administrators. The Government and Parliament have forfeited their trust and MUST NOT be allowed to impose the power of the State over the lives and aspirations of the British people. |
